Blueberry Scones

Steps

  1. Combine flour, white sugar, baking powder, lime zest and salt.
  2. Add pea-sized butter chunks and blueberries to mixture.
  3. Gently mix in buttermilk, do not over-stir.
  4. Pat down dough to an inch thick, cut into 8 pieces.
  5. Bake at 400 for roughly 25 minutes
  6. Combine lime juice and powdered sugar to make a glaze.
  7. Allow scones to cool before applying glaze. Glaze should harden after 30 minutes.
